Foveo: Poster-set triptych
April 2023
Poster ad for app: Foveo
Foveo is an app for development in critical thinking. To avoid the pitfalls of faulty thinking, Foveo teaches to recognize and refute logical fallacies and cognitive biases, moving toward more clear and effective thinking.
In a world where propaganda is proving to be a powerful weapon of persuasion, critical thinking is vital to progress. Developing an eye for logical fallacies, helps us to identify when a claim is simply fallacious. Understanding our own cognitive biases, has many benefits—from better communication to greater self-awareness for growth, to improved mental health.
[app is a Figma prototype]
Concept:
The posters are meant to reflect the "inner journey" one takes when venturing self-assessment toward growth.
The triptych setup is in response to the fact that very little foot traffic would realistically approach the individual end-posters to reveal their call to action (CTA). In this case, the message from the center poster is typeset to be legible from a distance, with optimal readability.
Visualizing Cultural Frames
This project was about the emic & etic ethnographic perspectives of a culture. I slightly modified the perspectives. The cultural subject is of The Satanic Temple, of which I attended the first "Black Mass" for the Indiana chapter of TST.
First poster set
The displaying the Seven Tenets of The Satanic Temple is of the perspective from within their culture. The other poster displays the seven deadly sins; and is of the perspective of outside stereotypes being projected onto TST.
Second Poster Set
The Baphomet poster is of the perspective from within TST culture. The other poster is a satire of my own culture, parodying the Baphomet poster.
TST does not believe in an actual nor superstitious figure of Satan; stating:
"Satan is a symbol of the Eternal Rebel in opposition to arbitrary authority, forever defending personal sovereignty even in the face of insurmountable odds. Satan is an icon for the unbowed will of the unsilenced inquirer–the heretic who questions sacred laws and rejects all tyrannical impositions..."

Judo Poster
Nov 2021
The Judo poster was part of a project involving a mock Olympic event held in Tel Aviv. Judo is a big part of Tel Aviv olympic culture, as the majority of their gold medals are in Judo.
This poster is revealed in the unfolding of a booklet that would be given out at a Judo event. The style is influenced by street art found in Tel Aviv; with street art being a notable subculture in Tel Aviv.
"Seiryoku Zenyo" is one of the central tenets of Judo. Seiryoku-Zenyo is the most effective use of the power of the mind and body. In the case of Judo, this is the principle upon which attack and defense are based, and what guides the process of teaching as well. In summary, this can be described as "maximum efficiency".
Art Fair Flyer
Jun 2022
One of the main goals with the 4th Street Art Fair flyer was to establish high readability and legibility from a distance. Often flyers are posted, and people might not step close enough to the flyer to receive the information.
Random Band Challenge
2016
The Random Band Challenge poster is a silkscreen print. It was created with screened ink layers in mind. The event is the result of musicians being randomly assigned to a new band formation. Visually I wanted to create a sort of shuffling feel and seemingly random, smaller elements placed together to form a whole element.
